Zee TV’s popular singing reality show “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs”, which has Alka Yagnik, Adnan Sami, Kailash Kher and Javed Ali as judges, had received an opening rating of 2.7.
It is quite a feat that even after completing 50 years in the film industry, Dharmendra, remembered for his role as Veeru in “Sholay”, still manages to draw in maximum viewers, as opposed to younger actors of tinsel town.
On the big screen, his last appearance was in “Yamla Pagla Deewana” along with his sons Sunny and Bobby.

Not Katrina or Karisma, it’s Kareena’s voiceover in ‘Bodyguard’!
According to a source from the sets, Kareena, the leading lady of the Salman Khan-starrer had suggested that Karisma’s voice should be used for the sequence. Someone else from the production team suggested that Katrina, who has already shot an item number for the film with Salman, should give the voiceover for the scene. However, it was eventually decided that Kareena would do the voiceover herself.
On the other hand, producer Atul Agnihotri says Kareena’s voice was always the first choice for the scene.
“I don’t know from where is the news doing the rounds. Kareena will always be my first choice to lend her voice for this crucial scene. After all ‘Bodyguard’ is her film and she is our leading lady in the movie,” said Agnihotri.
No plans to come back as an actor – Mahima Chaudhary
“No plans to come back. When a director is making a movie after four years, it’s not considered his comeback. It should be same with actors. You do a lot of movies then you let others do it when you go and perform another role in life. When you again return to acting it shouldn’t be taken as their comeback. They were always there,” Mahima told reporters at the ongoing India International Jewellery Week (IIJW).
The actress appeared as a showstopper for designer Anand Shah Wednesday.
Mahima, who had been the showstopper for Sawansukha Jewellers on an earlier day, prefers cashing on her stardom through endorsements and stage shows.
“More than films, endorsements and dance shows and attending functions or appearing in any shows brings more money,” said the 37-year-old model-turned-actrss, who appeared in films like “Om Jai Jagdish”, “Dhadkan” and “Dil Kya Kare”.
Dressed in a pink sari, Mahima exhibited a maze of gold bangles, with designs made of wood and oil paints electroplated on them.
“The beauty is in the crafting of these ornaments. Yesterday it was more of diamonds, here it’s more of crafts,” said Mahima.
Designer Anand Shah said: “It’s basically circles of life. In everyone’s life there is different circles. The connection of these circles is all about life. They are all oil painted 18k gold bangles that rotates in different directions.”
Shah was one among the four designers Adorn – India’s first luxury jewellery magazine – had presented. Designer Pallavi Foley, Ahalya S and Laksh Pahuja were the others.
Actress Perizaad Zorabian exhibited three dimensional ornaments on gold and pearls of designer Pallavi Foley at the same show.
